Unfortunately Prof. Lindner was unable to attend the HPLC2009 meeting in Dresden earlier this year to be presented with his medal. Fortunately he was able to co- chair the Euroanalysis 2009 conference in Innsbruck, Austria in September where, during the opening ceremony, Dr. Chris Bevan was able to present the medal to Prof Lindner on behalf of the committee. The photographs below show Prof. Lindner receiving the medal and addressing the delegates. THEFUTUREOFNORMAL PHASE IS SIMPLE- FAST- GREEN TharSFCintroduces the new Method Station II Supercritical Fluid Chromatography ( SFC) System. Designed for high throughput andhighresolution of demanding separations encountered in drugresearch and development, this new analytical system features a faster, higher capacity autosampler, a larger Analytical- 2- PrepTMcolumn oven, and new and improved software. These new features provide unprecedented flexibility in an instrument that has a smaller footprint. For more information go to waters. com/ SFC © 2009Waters Corporation.
